When we rebranded Confido back in 2020, we chose to support tech for good and impact start-ups because we believe business centred around making a difference is the way business should be.
We’re proud of the impact the startups we partner with have made and want to celebrate everything they accomplished last year.
Here’s a rundown of the impact they had in 2021...
Wagestream
Wagestream wants every employee to have financial freedom and confidence with their money. By working with Wagestream, employees have power over their pay and control over their wages instantly so they can keep track of their spending.

Their saving feature, SaveStream, turned one and has successfully helped 28% of users start saving.
The team partnered with Zellis to accelerate a world of fairer finance for all.
They were named one of the world’s top 10 tech partners for retail by Retail Week.

Through technology, they have developed a network of global tutors to provide affordable online tutoring across the UK.

allplants' goal is to make eating plant-based meals easy and delicious. They deliver chef-made dishes straight to your door, so all you have to do is pop it in the oven or microwave. Their meals aren’t just for vegans though, allplants’ founders believe plant-based meals are good for you and the planet and want to make it possible for as many people to eat plant-based when they want to.
In 2021:
allplants joined the Tech Zero initiative and pledged to become a net-zero company by 2030. This means that by 2030 allplants will have removed all carbon emissions from their supply chain and be offsetting any that can’t be removed.
They raised $52m in Series B funding, the biggest in Europe for a plant-based food company.
