As someone who’s only recently delved into a career in recruitment, learning is key! I’ve listened to some podcasts and signed up to newsletters, all of which have been immensely helpful alongside the training at Confido (thanks Craig!)
So, for this post I wanted to talk about some amazing figures in recruitment who’ve helped me as well as many others understand things like what motivates a candidate, gauging client needs, or even diversifying search methods amongst an array of other things. Katrina Collier and Glenn Martin
Katrina, author of ‘The Robot-Proof Recruiter: A survival guide for recruitment and sourcing professionals’ and Glenn, Talent Acquisition Professional, were hosts of The #SocialRecruiting Show. They shared their tips on growing an online brand (whether that’s a company brand, employer brand , or your own personal brand as a recruiter). Since ending The #SocialRecruiting show in November 2020, Katrina has launched The Hiring Partner Perspective and Glenn is the host of Never Mind The Job Spec.
