The femtech (female technology) scene has exploded in recent years. Founders across the globe are providing tech solutions for areas desperately in need of innovation, like menstruation, pregnancy and motherhood, as well as sexual health and hygiene.
With VC investment in femtech startups growing tenfold since 2012, investment is estimated to reach $9bn by 2024.
In fact, with so many fast-growing femtech startups out there, it was very difficult to narrow them down to just 20!

About: Elvie is bringing women's technology out of the dark ages. They understand that women shouldn’t have to make do with shoddy design or pink spin-offs when there are self-driving cars in the world. So, their mission is to improve women's lives through smarter technology. Their range includes a silent, wearable electric breast pump designed to discreetly slip inside your bra. You can even control it from your phone!
